I have a 2006 acura TL, is there anyone in CT that can mod the front side marker lights? I dont want them to be amber anymore. I want them white.

im actually talking about the side marker lights

 

my bad, i just looked up some pics on 3G forum, the sides of the headlights are the only sidemarkers the 4G has. Have you tried replacing the LEDS? Because in the pics i've seen the diffuser is gray or smoke in color.

Edit: I found this thread for you, there are 2 links in it, 1) removing the sidmarker and 2) changing the LED's.

you cant just replace the bulb because they are LED's

read this thread and it might help you. Im actually gathering the parts to do this to mine as well and im gonna mod them so they blink with the blinkers too. Id help you but I think I need to attempt mine first before I offer to help anyone.

idk, i still dont have all the stuff, ive been gathering it up slowly and ive been CRAZY busy! Im gonna get an extra set of front side markers to mod so I can take my time and work on them over a few days. Once they are done Ill take out my old side markers and mod those for a friend or sell em, whatever. To be honest itll prob be a few mths before I get to them

no supspension yet, Im looking for the best deal. Tein's are so expensive, but I think I may go with them. and I think have an easier way to change the side markers. everybody is doing it the complicated way. I think we can just buy and replace the LEds instead of the whole piece.

 

on the link i posted, it had another link in it to change the LED's. Unless i'm missing something.

 

you guys are confusing me....
yes i am changing the leds, but i am ALSO modding them so they blink with my blinkers. You can put whatever leds you want in there (as long as they work) and you dont have to make them blink thats just what im doing.

Is that what you guys are talking about

 

Gordon, I had an '06 TL I installed the progress sport springs. I think the springs are a good purchase if you're looking to get a drop that's noticeable and functional. I had the springs installed and they gave about a 1.2" drop. It was great and the car still handled well and had a great ride. Perfect for Stamford roads and even NY. It also costs a lot less.
