Hey - my new quad tips are suppose to arrive this week. You think you can see if he's available Saturday afternoon around 2 or 3?

Maybe I can meet up with Frantz over there

Anyone know any good exhaust shops in the Boston area? I was trying to install my j-pipe today but I didn't have anything to cut/torch the bolts.
I used Lou's in Worcester. Did a true duel on my old 95 bronco

Quad tips will look nice on the SSM. Do you have any other mods planned?

bottom exhaust was courtesy of Lou's in Fitchburg (bastards welded my exhaust into one piece), top one was D-Rob from Innovative Motorworks.

Franchise and Mike-
I just talked to Joe at Lou's...They don't do saturdays...so anytime during the week, just give them a call and ask for Joe. Mention "James" and hopefully he'll take care of you guys! Call ahead of time since they usually are busy.

$85 an hour but talk to joe...He'll give you a good estimate and if the price seems too high, he'll knock off some...like I said, mention James referred you guys cause I already gave him a heads up..I don't know how much he'll help you guys out but he'll def hook it up as much as possible! Plus, they do awesome welds...

Sounds good! Surprised it had more throatyniess and deep tone...I took out resonator so its louder but not bad! Joe was smart (another reason you guys should go to him), the muffler I ordered had 4in tips but since my oem muffler was oval tipped and was 6in wide and 4in tall, the muffler I bought didn't fill the oval gap as nice so they decided to place the muffler at a slant so that visually, it looks better! Next sat, you'll hear it in person..otherwise, go to the rl forum and check out jbao's rl and I got some clips

I would have taken the offer...or maybe not. LOL

Btw, I paid $250 for my mufflers welded...he had to fabricate pipes for the bend and put in new hanger..$125 each side. Forgot they warranty their work for a year.

was it mandrel bent or cush bent pipes? i had my exhaust done at lou's in worcestor, they said they dont do mandrel, so crush was my only option. paid 600 for complete ss catback, with my provided mufflers/tips/resonator.

if it was mandrel bend pipes then thats a really good price....I never seen a Lous custom exhaust that did mandrel bend, if so I will have to keep them in mind for the future for sure!!

ya..I need to double check first tho! they angled my muffler a little slanted so the exhaust tip can fill my oval slot from the bumper...so that helped minimize the bend...would have been a little more he said if the muffler was positioned just straight out.

Yeah Definately find out if yours is mandrel, those 90 degree crush bends are shitty. It's looks it makes a 2.5" pipe into a 2". I called bsm a while back, they said they don't do custom exhaust anymore. They just sell things.

Welcome to the forums! Hopefully we'll see you at some of the meets we have planned. Do you have pics of your TL to post in here?

A few of us are hunting for an exhaust shop for some work as well. Do you have a j-pipe already? Or do you still need to buy one?
