Hey Steve. Glad to hear you're going back down south. I know you liked it there. We'll have to hang out if I end up going down there. Too bad I live too far away now to come hang out.
I've always liked the K because aftermarket support and tuning options for the J are practically nil. I want to do a J swap in a different shell, but not my Accord.
Anyway, the Comptech SC kit replaces the intake manifold, so that's what I'm using. I'm going to port match the manifold to the head after I get it ported and polished. I replaced the restrictive TB inlet on the SC with a straight inlet. I have a RSX 62mm TB right now, but I'm planning on getting the Hybrid Racing 74mm TB when I upgrade to the MPx90 SC. I replaced my exhaust with a 4-1 header with 1 7/8" primaries that go to a 3" collector. It's 3" all the way back until the split (because I wanted to keep the dual exhaust), and then it's 2 1/2" after the split.

Yeah. I have a LSD. I swapped that in when I did the k24a2 swap 2 years ago. I actually just had my tranny rebuilt because 3 teeth broke off 6th gear on the countershaft. While it was apart, I had it powder coated gloss black. I'm probably going to paint the block gloss black after I get it back from ERL. I guess now I'll have more time to finish up my wire tuck too.

hey tim..yeah, my number is still the same...not point in changing it since most cell companies offer free long distance in state..NO Carrie, i'm in Houston..lol..but it's south so u were close...i'm already getting to know the acura crew down here in houston..seems like a fun bunch...i still need to get me a cowboy hat..lol..well, i hope u all have a great week...

How about another Hooters meet lol theres one on route 1 in Saugus

they actually have a good size parking lot in the back, and if we have lunch there like last time, its not loitering!
