I'm watching that video, I freeze it, I can clearly see the exit signs... then freeze it again, clearly see the speedo.... I bet if I downloaded the 720P version I can even get the plates...

Well that's why I am a big proponent of road racing on a track. It's a lot more fun for one thing, whereas to me drag racing is a bore. What skill is involved other than flooring the gas pedal? And 30 seconds later it's all over. So you get bragging rights...

I don't know why more guys don't go to real tracks where you really get to enjoy your car. If I didn't do that I would have sold my NSX by now for something else. Being on a real track is unbelievably fun and you learn real skills. NHMS is an hour and a half from Boston. Right now COM has an event where newbs can go for $100. I mean.... for being on a real track with instruction and safety people all around... you can't beat it. You don't need some fancy car either. Any Acura will probably do just fine. My friend who is an instructor passed a bunch of Porsches at the PCA driving his mother's bone stock 1997 Camry with all season tires and an empty bottle under the passenger seat. There is a video on youtube. Turbo Porsche drivers were pointing him by. Hilarious...

 

I'd have to put my car on a diet before I took it to the track.

Spotted a KBP TLS in Lynnfield tonight by OLA...group of guys hanging out on someones porch. Some Civics in the driveway it looked like. I was going into the church for a meeting. Parked behind the TLS...someone on here? Would have gone up and talked/given thumbs up from across street but was running late.

Hello everyone I am fairly new to this forum I just finished paying off my 07 TL Type s and looking for a reputable shop to help with some mods. I am in Foxboro. Some of the things I want to do are
1. ASPEC front lip
2. CF hood
3. KW variant 1 coilovers
4. DC Sports intake
5. SSR Professor SP1 18" w/Nitto INVO's
6. 250 hp NOS Kit (not sure about this one)
I am looking to do it sometime in February when I get home off of deployment. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. I am planning on documenting the whole upgrade.
