Any reputable PDR in/around Boston?

Does anyone know of a reputable shop in or around Boston that does Paintless Dent Repair? I have a ding about the size of a quarter on my drivers side quarter panel that's driving me crazy!

Thanks in advance!!

Nobody ever responds.. I used Stadium Auto body in allston, they did a great job matching my front and back bumper. Very reputable company.

^Thanks for the response! They're so hard to get around here... LOL.

Do they do PAINTLESS dent repair there?? I don't need any paint work, just to pop out a very small dent on my QP.

Oh I understand, I don't think anyone has actually helped me with any information on here in a long time unfortunately, usually the responses are snobby and uninformative..

I am almost positive they do paintless dent removal there, when I went over there(also by recommendation) I had them look at a few dents that I have as well. That wasn't my reason for going there so I never actually had it done but I'll give you their site and hopefully you make out well, they're really good and honest from what I can tell, reasonable price and they follow up. They washed my car and cleaned it up before i got it back and I noticed they put a few swirls in my paint after they fixed it. I made one nice phone call and they offered to detail my car for free. Let me know how you make out though, I'm genuinely curious as well. I had an acorn but a good size dent in my roof... Anyway, here's their site

Sweet man! I'll head over there tomorrow morning and let you know how it goes. They seem pretty legit.

Didn't make it out last weekend, unfortunately. Someone attempted to break into my car so most of my funds went towards new door pillars and a Viper alarm system. My battery also managed to stop charging, so was forced to purchase an Optima Yellow Top.

Hopefully this weekend I can swing by! Let me know what they charge you if you manage to get it done before I do.

Wow that sounds terrible. I've never even thought about buying an aftermarket alarm system. Did that happen in the city or outskirts? I probably won't get the chance to make it there until my semester is over but when I go I'll post it up.

In the infamous city of Chelsea, lol. I was visiting my girlfriend's mother & I guess they took advantage since I parked a bit far from her home & it was dark out.

Ah yea I don't have much to say to that lol I never really worried about my car getting broken into, I don't keep much valuable in there except my garmin, oakleys and radar detector. Should probably know this but what is the difference with the aftermarket alarm?

  • Shock sensor is much more sensitive - I don't think the OEM alarm even has a shock sensor.
  • Remote Start with a 1 mile range - Had it on my old Civic.. and it came in handy during winter & summer!! Plus you can choose for how long you want your car to stay on.
  • Tilt Sensor - If your vehicle is jacked up from any point the alarm goes off!!
  • Back up battery which powers the alarm even if they cut the main power to it.
  • Color LCD 2-way Responder HD remote that reports any sensors that have been bypassed. You also have a ton of options like Silent Alarm where the alarm won't go off on the vehicle but it'll warn you on your remote (which vibrates and rings) so you can catch thief(s) in the act.
  • For a couple hundred bucks more you can install Start Smart which lets you start your car from your Android/iPhone at virtually any distance. (Never tried it....probably never will, lol).
There's really a ton of features. I had the previous version on my old Civic and loved it. Caught some kids trying to steal my HFP wheels once. So decided to try out their new one.

Thank you for the information, never really thought about that before. I got a Python remote start installed last year, can't start it with my Android(as far as I know though). Awesome that it goes off it someone tries to tow your car though hahaha If I had known about that before I got the remote start I probably would have gotten it, even though I haven't been too concerned about my car getting broken into. How much did that run you?

On my Civic it was about ~$360 installed. ~$180 for the alarm (eBay FTW) + $180 for the install.

For the TSX, the new gen alarm ran me about ~$280 and I'm unsure of the install... I have to shop around and get some estimates, but it should be a bit pricy since newer cars now have transponders in their keys that have to be programmed to the alarm or something. At least that's my understanding.
