Schumacher to 'evaluate' his future

My guess is MS will retire at the end of the season.

as hyper-analytical as he is this really isn't surprising in the context of comments he's been making. I would miss seeing him but he's right: he sure doesn't seem to be helping Merc at all with the development of their car.

Not a surprise. I'm kinda surprised he came back this year.

Things really couldn't be much worst for MS, consistently out performed by a younger team-mate who's never won a grand prix. Chassis development seems to be stagnent, and the motor is winning for a rival team. I agree definitely not the way to go out.

2006 seems so long ago now for the dream team of Schumacher/Brawn/Todt/Bryne when they came in 2nd place for the WDC and CC.

it's also a sad commentary for MBZ when you take into account the considerable resources it has to be running 4th best and not even close to the front runners. I expect that from Force India, not MBZ.

I'd rather see di Resta at Mercedes.

How did it ask questions? And why was it interested in MS? I'd think it'd be more interested in programming, bandwidth, etc.

Little surprised since I was sorta expecting a exit. Maybe MS and RB think it's like 1996-1999 again, where they had to develop the Ferrari chassis and hone it to MS's driving style.

Well, it certainly isn't 1991, when Schumacher jumped into a Jordan with minimal practice and immeditaly qualified for seventh.
