Rubens tells it like it is
From Planet-F1.com
Former Ferrari driver Rubens Barrichello has shed some light on Ferrari's hierarchy of drivers, claiming that the team does use team orders in favour of Michael Schumacher.
According to the Brazilian, who now drives for Honda, if Felipe Massa hadn't had Fernando Alonso between himself and Schumacher at the end of the Turkish Grand Prix, Ferrari would never have allowed Massa to win the race.
The win was Massa's maiden F1 victory and, according to Barrichello, it was a well-deserved one.
"At least we had the joy of seeing Massinha win the race," he said on his official website.
"He drove very well and did exactly what needed to be done: he put someone in between him and Michael. If that hadn't happened, we know how the story would have ended considering how things work at Ferrari.
"The important thing is that he won and the celebration we had on Sunday night was worthwhile."
