A new documentary feature-length film made by Audi, Truth in 24 is about the 2008 Le Mans race. Here is a link to the film web site:

I saw a private screening of the film this evening and it is very good -- any true racing enthusiast will enjoy it!

 

Saw this over the weekend on ESPN and it was awesome! Loved seeing not only the racing, but the drama that happens with the pit crew and the critical decisions being made (i.e. what tires to use). That scene when McNish walks you through the track turn by turn at LeMan was astounding.

They just showed this on FX this morning - just ended. I thought it was an awesome documentary/film. Awesome camerawork and behind the scenes stuff.

I mean I'm not a hardcore race fan but I've always known about the 24 hrs of Le Mans and that it is THE race of the year but this opened my eyes even more about what it takes to win and all the factors they have to consider. I literally watched ALL of it and I NEVER do that for a car racing film or actual car race.

I thought it was A+
