Michael Printup Retires then UN-Retires

Well, my brother tossed in the towel on NASCAR and the 6 Hour IMSA Race at the end of the month is his last gig. It really is a bit sad to see 14 years of improvements to the track and pride for his efforts there, come to an end. Now I have to spend $$ to watch races there again-WTF? lol. Track repaved, all new bathrooms, grandstands and a new Media Center are among the improvements he shepherded, $56M worth altogether.

Thanks Legend, yes he did. I remember going there in the 70's/80's and basically peeing in a trough (gutter) that emptied in to a hole. lol.

YES you should!! It is an iconic track for sure. Every major form of auto racing has happened there: F1, Can-Am, Indycar, IMSA, the first SCCA event ever, Vintage racing and on. Incredible.

The last two times I drove upstate I got caught in huge snow storms. It's too much for me.

Congrats. But doesn't this new job require more traveling? You'd think that someone who is slowing down would want to travel less.

Zero travel-all work from home. His new boss is super cool and a great guy. Michael bought a house in Summerville, SC a few weeks ago, time time to chillax.
