JPM's Hissy Fit

JPM's Hissy Fit
Patrick Head spilled the beans on why JPM is leaving-he had a major breakdown w/ his crew on the radio that supposedly lasted 10 minutes during the French GP. Days later he was called to the factory for a full fledged dressing down by Head and Williams. 2 days later, voila, new contract w/ McLaren! Now to see if he can still win the championship this year, if he even gets into the correct position.

Will JPM get any team support for a championship chase? They've already burned a lot of bridges with Ralph. Could Wiliams have shot themselves in the foot by pissing off BOTH drivers at the same time?

JPM will still get the support he needs to win a championship--there's way too much $$$ at stake for the mfr's and way too much self-interest for him to do anything other than his best. Ralf will never be a champion, never. He doesn't have what it takes by any stretch.

if u think for a moment williams is not going to put any efforts into winning the championship w/ JPM that wld be waaaaaaaaaay wrong. no matter what, they want that number 1 on their car next year no matter who's driving it. prost took the 1 w/ him to ferrari from williams after announcing he was leaving to make room for senna.
