Great Race (Astro be PISSED)

Whatta race! BAR is on the podium again and in the points for the 3rd consecutive race. Jensen's now 3rd in the points. AStro's gotta be about ready to jump off a cliff the way Kimi's luck has been going.

He has to be thanking his luck to be going to a team where he gets paid so much money to drive a third of a race! Maybe.

Although I'm a Ferrari fan, I hope the up coming races will be a little more interesting up front.

i agree cls, I never wlda guessed this season wld start this way. With all the McLaren hype over their new chassis and ditto for Williams, I woulda thought things wld have been MUCH different at the pointy end of the grid. Can't stand Schu but love Ferrari. Would rather see Rubens on the top step any day but gotta admire MS's accomplishments. Christ, he's going for his 7th world championship!!!

I think Kimi is happy his contract is up. Look for him at Williams next year....

fuck, I hope things get better, the season is boring so far.

bahrain's scenery was pretty cool, just the cars, and...nothing....

Great to see BAR is the most improved team, I think Sato might learn to control the beast yet.

ditto on the BAR thang Astro, I couldn't be happier. I couldn't help thinking over the last few years how great Honda used to be in the back of McLarens and Williams cars in the 80's and early 90's. My wife and I remember sitting across from the McLaren pits at the Cdn. GP and the techs revving the engines. It sounded like Win, Win, Win, Win! Finally again, it might be.

Saw an article on itv-f1 that said Brawn is surprised at the lack of competition Ferrari is receiving from McLaren and Williams. They lead by 33 points over Renault but he sez he has seen a 29 point lead disappear in the past. We shall see, somehow I don't think that's gonna happen this year.

I wonder if Dixon is gonna get an F1 ride, the Williams testing seems like the real deal.

Yeah, he was 9 tenths off Gene's time yesterday. Not too bad for a guy just starting out I'd say. But I keep asking myself-why? Why would Frank want an untried inexperienced F1 driver?

As soon as he gets used to turning left again he'll be o.k.

Dixon is very good, i hated to see him leave Champ Car, but i thought he was gonna go to F1 eventually.

I dunno. He's good but I'm not sure he is F1 good. And 9/10s off Gene's time is not a raving endorsement.
