Racing Point has announced it will launch its 2019 Formula 1 season in Toronto on February 13.
The former Force India team is set for an official name change before the start of next season but is currently entered under the holding name of Racing Point. While a name may be confirmed before that date, the team is set to unveil its 2019 identity and livery at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto.

Hmmm, maybe they will change the national registration to Canadian.

Maybe there is a private pre-show for VIP, and that's when the reveal will take place. Hopefully the car will still be there by the time the show starts and before they ship it off to testing. Unless they just leave last year's show car.

Teams reject Liberty joint launch idea
Well, according to this, the Racing Point unveil in Toronto will just be a 2018 car in the new livery. I guess from a logistics standpoint, it didn't make sense to send a new car across the pond and back in something like 5 days.

Mercedes announces date of W10 2019 F1 car's reveal
Mercedes' new Formula 1 car will run for the first time on February 13 ahead of the start of official testing for the 2019 season. The new W10, the 10th contemporary Formula 1 car built by the German manufacturer, will take to the track for a shakedown run five days ahead of the start of testing in Spain.
Mercedes will complete the run at Silverstone, which it has usually used for the shakedowns of its new cars.
The shakedown will be a closed event, not accessible to media or the public, but the team will reveal images of the car.
Mercedes' run will coincide with the season launch of the Racing Point team, which will also unveil its new look on that day.
Mercedes has won both the drivers' and constructors' championships for the last five years, with Lewis Hamilton becoming the third driver to win at least five titles alongside Juan Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher.
Official pre-season testing kicks off on February 18 in Barcelona.

I have a bad feeling with the Rich Energy colors being black and gold we are going to lose the red from the Hass car. We need more color not less on these cars. Bet it looks something like a Lotus now.

Accompanying the image, Mercedes said: “Silver is so last season...”
Although the team has not elaborated on its plans for the W10, or if the new colours extend beyond just the front wing, the pattern and Tweet may be a clue that Mercedes is opting for something different this season from what it has run recently.
Mercedes is due to unveil its new W10 on February 13, prior to the first official test taking place at Barcelona from February 18. But the team may not run the livery in testing as it appears at the launch.
With the pattern reminiscent of a camouflage livery that road car manufacturers use to disguise the latest design concepts, it could be that Mercedes is planning to hide its work for a long as possible. Red Bull famously ran a full camouflage livery on its car at the start of 2015 testing.
With teams having devoted a lot of resources to perfecting new front and rear wings, the colours would at least make it more difficult for rival teams to pick up and copy any fine details of the new Mercedes.
Mercedes has dropped a hint that its new 2019 Formula 1 car could have a bold new look when it is first revealed next week.
In a tweet issued from the team’s official account, it offered a glimpse of what appears to be a new front wing painted with a blue, green and black pattern.Accompanying the image, Mercedes said: “Silver is so last season...”

The car is not bad looking but at the same time I think the old car looked much better. There needs to be more gold on the car there is just too much large sections of nothing but black. It also has that Lotus feel to it.
Haas have kicked off the Formula One launch season with the reveal of the Haas VF-19.
The team teased us earlier in the week with a picture of their drivers sporting new merch. It was another indication that rumours of a new black and gold livery were true.
Proud as punch…
Clothing brand Jack and Jones retain their place on the rear-wing in 2019, as well as on the halo.
An aerial shot further highlights the new front-wing design, as well as the new gold plating around the front nose, previously red or grey with past cars.
Haas confirmed that the London launch event was to show off the new livery. The actual car launch will be in the pit-lane at the Circuit de Catalunya just before winter testing begins on Monday, February 18.
Take a closer look at the new Haas VF-19

With just hours to go until the official launch, we received a further tease from the American team, this time with the car under its shield. Also before the launch, William Storey, boss of Haas’ new title sponsor Rich Energy, told The Sun that: “We are confident we will beat Red Bull in many races this year.”

Our expectations were confirmed, as Haas went for a whole new livery, a black base with gold contrast, with the Haas branding down the sides standing out sharply in white.
Haas provided us with the first proper look at the simplified front wing – brought in as part of the 2019 aerodynamic regulations designed to promote overtaking.
The Rich Energy branding appears on the side of the airbox, while Peak also debuts on the side of the rear wing.We can't stop staring! How good does the VF-19 livery look?

It looks good, but I prefer the battleship gray of the VF-17.
The Lotus-esque look, looks good, but wonder if it's going to blend with the Renaults (assuming a similar Renault livery to 2018).

I don't think just because the car has black and gold that any comparison can be rightfully made to a Lotus which had much more gold than the Haas does. This is a flat black car and I think it looks pretty dramatic and a welcomed change in the right direction for the team given its lackluster original version IMO

Toro Rosso have become the second Formula 1 team to show off their 2019 challenger, after revealing the STR14 that will be driven by Alexander Albon and Daniil Kvyat this season.
The car is an important one for the team, following the announcement that Toro Rosso and Red Bull would increase their technical cooperation for 2019. That will see the two squads’ cars share an entire rear end – which includes the Honda power unit that Red Bull will switch to in 2019, plus the gearbox, rear suspension, and electronic and hydraulic components – as well as some front suspension parts.
In principle, that should help the team build on a solid 2018, which saw them finish ninth in the constructors’ standings after a season punctuated be several punchy performances, most notably Pierre Gasly’s fourth place at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
