These races will not die, either F1 will get their shit together or even more manufacturers will move to the new series.

Kinda pointless to have F1 without the big dog on top for people to bring down. This move has been something that these teams had been talking about for a while. I'm just surprised that they finalized the decision so soon. Guess those rule changes for 2007 really got to them.

The "scare" is over. Ferrari commits past the Concorde agreement, which effectively puts them in F1 until 2012. Although Ferrari does have a great winning tradition and the only team to contest every modern (1950- today) GP, for many years no one came to beat Ferrari, they came to beat Williams and Macca. Don't forget prior to Todt and company the Prancin' Ponies from Maranello had not had a championship for 20 years!
