Bar???
Well F1 fans, the BAR cars of Button & Sato are tearin' it up pretty good, check this out!
IT'S BUTTON AGAIN
Last Updated: Thursday, 12 February , 2004, 10:37
BAR have continued their promising pre-season form as both drivers swept to the top of the timesheets in Jerez today.
And, not only did they see off the midfield runners and McLaren, the BAR006 also outpaced the two radical FW26 Williamses.
Jenson Button and Takuma Sato must be getting more and more excited as the Geoff Willis car finds more and more speed.
The Honda engine hasn't been performing too badly either as the cars completed over 170 laps today.
That included a stop for Sato to be reaquainted with a front wheel after he lost it at the end of the main straight.
Behind them came the Renaults and FW26s - driven by Marc Gene and Ralf Schumacher.
There was no obvious turnaround in speed for the McLaren MP4-19. Kimi Raikonnen has admitted that the team is struggling with set-up.
They did at least see off the lone Ferrari on the track. Luca Badoer was driving the F2003-GA.
Elsewhere Jordan were again getting to grips with the new EJ14 - with Heidfeld and newboy Pantano at the wheel.
Meanwhile, Ferrari were in action at Mugello with Michael Schumacher at the wheel of the F2004. The German will continue testing on Thursday.

Christ, they're faster than 3/4 of top teams ('cept Ferrari) in this test and they're running long distances, ie-NOT on light fuel loads. Amazing. Too bad JV's not around to enjoy the fruits of his labor

The true picture will emerge during qualifying for the first race. It does look like BAR has made progress from last year though. Whether its enough to grab a spot in the 1st two rows, well we'll just have to wait and see.
