Incredibly close race between Schumacher and Alonso, all hinged on last pitstop exit for Alonso where if he had been .1 of a second longer coming out of pit lane he would have been second. GREAT racing! Kimi from last on the grid to 3rd, he and Rosberg both fight for the drive of the race. Button had a decent race but the pace just isn't on par with Renault, Ferrari and McLaren yet. Both JPM and Ruebens had poor races with possibly JPM still having engine issues and Ruebens having trouble with his transmission. Massa tossed his race early on with a spin then there was a air gun problem that resulted in a 45+ second pit stop to change the flat spotted tires. For Massa's sake I hope it isn't his old quick but crazy issues, not unlike Sato of old. Looks to be another 2003 with 3 or possibly 4 cars/drivers fighting for the title. Excellent stuff.

Great Race. honda did well, looks like ferrari is back as a contender. Kimi and his Mclaren look like they could be a serious contender/player this year also (if they have the reliability) Should be interesting to see how the 2 race motors go next week. (honda should be fine with over 16,000 miles of testing)

Ah dag, My team is bmw, I though villeneuve was doing pretty good, I went to get a soda or something and upon comming back he was out... Bah.
The guy who supprised me was the rookie, Rosburg. He was delt a bad hand in the beggining, but near the end he was absolutely flying. The other thing that was a nice thing was how well cosworth was doing.

That was a fantastic race! That was just incredible what Raikkonen was able to accomplish, from last to 3rd! I haven't watched that many F1 races the couple of seasons, but this one was pretty exciting. On to Malaysia!

I watched the race and thought it was pretty good. Kimi and Rosburg both had a heck of a drive as others have mentioned. I am pumped I have sat tv now and can watch all of the races this year.

Dissapointing start from Button. I think he lost something like 4 spots at the start. By the time he got around Barrichello, he was already too far behind to challenge for the win. Once again, he was caught up in heavy traffic after emerging from his first pit stop, probably because of the bad start.
Overall, a very entertaining race. Renault, Ferrari, McLaren, and Honda all had very good pace, which should make this season very competitive.
Can't wait for Malaysia next week, at 1am!

Disappointing, totally disappointing. First of all, Barrichello was holding up Button for the first few laps. Secondly, shitty team refueling strategy twice caused Button to lose time when he rejoined the race in heavy traffic. In comparison, Alonso and MS had the race track completely open ahead of them when they rejoined the race after refuelling.
