Anticlimactic finish to a pretty good race


 

That VSC was absolute horseshit.

 

They never showed the Williams, that I saw, was it in a position that was hazardous?

 

Yeah, no video was ever shown. Fake VSC to protect the Ferrari.

 

I saw a clip of Sainz on IG. After the spin (literally right after) he drove behind the barrier. Local yellows made sense, VSC definitely did not.

 

Damn M4X's chase for 2nd was pretty damn spectacular i must say... I think without the VSC, he might have actually given Leclerc a run for his money ..

 

Without the VSC, I think they likely would've ended up reversed, or DNF

 

Is "M4X" really a thing now?

 

Mostly tongue in cheek, i'm not the biggest fan of the dude either, (never forget Abu Dhabi 21), but this past year, after he hasn't been as performant/dominant, i've seen a huge amount of growth/maturity of the guy and the last few races of his resurgence has to be respected..

 

Looks like Sainz left the tail of the Williams sticking out just enough for it to be considered a hazard

 

RJ gets only his second win of the year.

 

If nothing else, this weekend has shown that Sainz is still the best teammate Leclerc has had
