Wow, parking has gone up at COTA.
$315 for 3 day parking, or $40 for off site with shuttle service.
No on-site single day option.

I don't remember it being that when we went in 17/18. IIRC it was <$100 for 3 day [with a 1 mile walk to the gate]

2017/18, we spent right around $1k all in, each year. Grandstand tickets [T9 2017, T4 2018], parking & AirBnB

Probably be triple that now.

 

That is criminal. COTA should be ashamed of themselves.

 

These prices are out of control.

 

I think the conference I'm getting tickets through has a shuttle to the track, but they aren't getting there until FP1, missing the first Masters & PSC sessions.
I'm ok with $40 for the off-site [close] parking & can do that for a single day. Really surprised they don't even offer single day parking in the closer lots.

 

what do they think this is, Las Vegas?


at these prices, i would rather shell out some travel to somewhere like Baku or Hungary

 

For 2, I'd bet you're not far off from $2k for the USGP for 3 day grandstand tickets + parking.
Not including lodging in town, at likely inflated rates.
It's a 3 hr drive for me, so the travel cost is negligible.

 

Finally got confirmation for COTA for Friday!
Suite between T18-19

Single day on-site parking also opened up, so was able to get on site parking for the same price at the 5 miles away shuttle parking

Lewis is the COTA master with 6 wins, it's shocking he didn't make it out of Q1.

 

the post- quali interview, he mentioned there was something broken i believe
