Man, the stewards could not have fucked up worse the points race for Constructor's between McLaren and Ferrari if they tried. Lando's mistake and the resulting penalty was nowhere near the egregious level it was treated like.

 

Some really calls in that race. Very enjoyable, there was a lot going on.
The debris should've been addressed much sooner & the penalty was pretty harsh, but on 'safety' grounds I suppose makes some sense.

 

finally finished the race, my god that was a cluster of a race.. I ‘get’ the whole safety aspect but it felt unnecessarily harsh.. A 10 second penalty itself would have been fair IMO. .. but damn stewards were really Oprah’ing the penalties that night..

 

RE: Norris, saw a review after that said it was within the prior usage of the penalty for failing to slow under double yellow. Mazepin was the last to get the 10sec stop/go, 2021 I think they said.
