RBR debrief I get a kick out of listening to Max's irate radio messages, about time things weren't all sunshine and roses for the prick.

 

Lando deserved that win & got robbed.
He was consistently pulling away & Piastri couldn't close the gap. OP should've gotten first pit service & it wouldn't have been an issue, or LN could've taken the lead on merit afterward.
Different situation to the 'Valtteri, it's James' call, IMO.

Also, really shocked Max got away with minimal damage after that leap.

 

Agreed on all points.

Lando had pole.
Lando is in second in the WDC. Oscar is in fifth.
Lando did lose out in turn 1, but after that last pitstop he was in a different league compared to Oscar.
No matter what, MCL had the 1-2. Hamilton was nowhere near them and Verstappen didn't have the pace.

If I were Lando, I would not have yielded. After the pit stop Oscar was within 2 seconds. A handful of laps later + a mistake and that gap tripled.
If I were Oscar, I'd feel like my maiden victory wasn't earned. And from his body language after the race, it seemed like he felt that way.

This is highly unlikely, but crazier things have happened - if Lando loses the WDC by anything less than 7 points, this race is why.

 

Seems like Mclaren went to the Ferrari school of strategery with that team order
