way to go Steve. What a race. I think I teared up when Seb was on the podium and the German/Italian anthems played for the first time in a long time.

The win reminded me so much of Schumacher's first win with Ferrari at Barcelona. Back then, Ferrari also hadn't won in many years, and the arrival of Schumacher started a dynasty. Hope this isn't a repeat.

I gotta make up for the points I lost in the first race haha. I haven't watched much of the race yet (will this weekend), but sounds like it was quite the interesting race!!! The first part I have watched was pretty good. I skipped ahead to the podium bit, and my first thought was Shumi/Ferrari with regards to the anthems etc. I hope we get to see Kimi on the top step this year at some point.

Finished watching the race finally. Great race, lots of mid-pack battles and interesting storylines etc. Amazing the progress Ferrari made over the winter. Kimi certainly was not kidding when he said the car they handed him this year was lightyears better than what they gave him the year before. It shows. Chassis looks strong, and the engine performance has significantly improved.

on the same tire strategy, MBZ is still ahead of Ferrari but you're right, at least the red cars' race pace is up significantly.
