If the season ended now and we all dropped our worst results, I think I'd be pretty high on the list.

Starting a petition to dock F-C 10 points!
and damn chief is pulling away, him and F-C were the only ones with the good picks this week

10 points doesn't equal pulling away but I am alone atop for now. What a season, it's like trying to handicap a tight thoroughbred race with a majority of the teams within a whisker of winning.

Ever since my strategy changed to "blind squirrel" (picking before practice even starts), I've been on a tear. I've amassed more points than anyone since race 3. Dietrich Mateschitz noted today that F1 has become sort of a lottery this season, which isn't too far from the truth. It's going to be hard to predict the winners until maybe the second half of this year.

Nice work Steve, that's the highest position you've been in since the competition started four years ago isn't it?

Chief crashes hard to fourth place. West takes the lead for the first time this year. The top five is separated only by 14 points.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.
After fighting for the top last year, Uzz and I are fighting for the basement this year.

Due to too much drama (see above). The deadline for each race will be changed to prior to the start of qualifying from now on.

For a little persepctive:
Through Canada last year we had scored, as a group, 1989.5 points. Same point this year, we've scored, 1409.5 points. 580 fewer points.
Including Europe, 2277.5 points last year; 1524.5 points this year.

Goes in line with the actual driver's championship. Last year through the first 8 races, Vettel was leading the championship with 186 points. This year, Alonso only has 111 points through the first 8 races.

has not been officially declared to be the same problem with each F-C. The head of Renault's engine dept. has said he can't make that decision until the power plants are torn down.
