Any guidance on what tax program to get for tax return time? I'd like to do both state and federal on it. We're a pretty normal family....both work for local govt and we file jointly.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. Works great for me.

Unless you use some financial software that ties into some other tax prep program, then I see no reason not to use TurboTax.

The only thing that kind of sucks about TT, is that you have to pay ~$15 to e-file. I don't know if any other packages are any different, though.

 

I'm pretty sure Turbo Tax is the industry standard.
