Looks like next weekend (20th) I'm going to be traveling down to Wichita as I have a buyer there for my A-Spec wheels. He mentioned that there was a show (VIP/Import Luxury Type) going on that Sunday that I should check out - any of you guys planning to attend there?I know a few faces from Wichita after meeting some of you at the Nat'l meet lol.
I would but I unfortunately have no idea what you look like.
Girlfriend: "Bob was asking about you."
Me:"Who the hell is Bob?"
Girlfriend:"Drives the blue 350Z."
Me:"Oh yeah Bob."
Everyone only knows each other by their cars lol
We saw your car there. Folks keep saying "check out that other TL."

Didn't you used to live in Wichita? I swear to god I've seen someone who fits you and your car description living at some apartments off Rock. I think he was in Air Force ABUs.
Tell me that's not a coincidence

I'm asking around, I know there's a good one one of my customers uses and he absolutely loves them. He's taken 6 cars there already. When he texts me back I'll post it here.

Has anyone had their 100k mile service done anywhere in town other than the Acura dealership? Good/bad experiences or any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I do NOT recommend any schofield dealer. They have on multiple occasions tried to rip me off ontop of their work ethic being garbage.
I had fusion auto works on S. Illinois street do timing belt and water pump on my CL about a year and half ago. Got my oem parts from Hansel (one of our acurazine vendors) No problems to date, and will have them do my wifes TL next year. Its a race shop, but they had no problem working on my stocker. I believe the owners name is Ray, (not sure on this). Just go down and talk to them.
The owner of Flipside Audio and Securty's brother in law did mine earlier this year. He's a mechanic & does work on the side. I ordered the parts on my own and he did the labor. I wanna say he only charged me 200 but I could be wrong. Did solid work and no problems to report, and I'm anal about other people working on my stuff. You can look up flipside audio on facebook, his name is Kristian.

not sure what you mean by rolling the fender ? i am a newbie here also and in Wichita , LONG time mechanic at a trusted shop . new 08 tl owner have 98 CL as well that the tranny is wasted on as well. i know a great body shop man not sure if he does custom stuff but could ask he is one of the best painters in wichita tho.
I plan on dropping my car soon and might need to roll the fenders so my tires/rims doesn't rub on the fender. Basically just rolling up the inner lip of the fender. Just looking for a shop that actually has the tool to do the job.

i might be a little more active on here now that I'm "back" in the scene. Just picked up my 3rd tsx. Grigio metallic 09 base, lowered on tein s-techs, 18" axis wheels. Any luck on finding someone to get the fenders rolled? My future plan is to run 19's flush fit and mild stretch, and Lower in the rear another inch.

Relatively new shop in town. Luxury import specialist (not sure if this is exact name) 45th N and Rock. A couple of guys that used to work for schofield (Dana and Tom) I just had them do t-Belt and water pump on my wifes '08 TL (yesterday). They used an Aisin kit (same as oem). Very professional. They ran a special last fall for $875+ Tax (T-Belt, Both internal tensioners, Water pump, Plugs and external serpantine belt). They still honored the mailer they sent out. I also had them do a few extra things while they had the car. (Brake fluid flush, cabin filter, complete coolant flush, and sepantine belt tensioner) Very impressed.
