Well my trip to the dealer yesterday went as expected. The motor mounts are filled with a fluid to help with engine noise and vibration and when it gets below zero the fluid is stiffer and thus causes the car to have more pronounced noise and vibration. So in other words a waste of my time and theirs as I can already hear and feel a difference with the temps in the 30's this morning.
Does it cost anything to have the dealer look at or diagnos the problems or any problems on your car? I am thinking of taking my car to the dealership just to make sure everything on my car is working fine and that nothing needs replacement. Any suggestions or recommendations on where to go here in the Twin Cities? Thanks

Or recommend a shop and and possibly a price range to get it done

The only body shop I have taken my car to is Fairway collision in Vadnais they do a great job.

Advice Between buying a 2012-13 TL SH or Accord Sedan Sport 2015
I got your PM. My advice unless the TL is on it's last legs keep it. But if you are determined to get something else here is what little advice I can give. On the Accord front be prepared for a big downgrade in options and features. Do you like leather seats? Not an option on the Sport. Same with HIDs, auto dimming rearview mirror and many more plus Sports only come with an I4 engine and either a 6 speed or CVT trans. Now am I recommending the TL no I have been and will continue to be someone who really didn't like the look of the 4G TL with the beak and slanty styling. Not to mention added expenses with the TL SH requires premium gas and probably has worse fuel economy also tabs probably cost more than the Accord plus it is a used car which means it will be due for service sooner than the Accord. I hope this helps.

If I had to choose, I'd go with the 12-13 TL SH. Personally I like the more upscale luxury that the TL offers over the Accord.
But why the change in heart on your current TL? Instead of spending more money on a different car, you could spend that extra cash on upgrades for your current ride! Add on's would certainly make it feel like a whole new car!
So a few days ago my car started making a like almost metal scraping sound from the front right wheel when I would take a sharp right turn, and it's gotten worse. Wouldn't think it's a braking problem since I just replaced my pads and rotors about a week or two ago. Thinking it might be the cv joint, taking the car to the shop today. Hope all goes well and not too expensive.

for those of you with winter tires, when do you determine when to switch them out. I know it's minnesota and were most likely going to get more snow before summer is here, but yesterday it was 60 degrees here and the rest of the week looks to be in the high 40's low 50's. I just don't want to wear them out quicker than they should.

Ah, luckily it was just my dust shield. I guess I slightly bent it towards my rotor the last time I was working around the wheels. So no charge was done!

If you have two sets of wheels as long as it's not snowing, but if you only have two sets of tires I'd say until April or above 60 degrees, idk
I have two sets. I just went ahead and swapped them out anyways. I have all season tires on my other set so I should be fine. They're only type s wheels anyways
I don't know much about LED to be honest. You just looking for LED bulbs or looking for a while retrofit? Usually good places to look are vLED and The Retrofit Source.
Yeah basically what a retrofit is, is taking a projector and putting them into your headlights. Right now I have quad headlights with s2k projectors and foglights with Lexus es300 yellow foglights.
You want a retrofit projectors for any HID lighting, otherwise putting HID lights into halogen based housings is going to scatter light, blind oncoming traffic and basically be useless. Projectors put the light where it should be.
These are the fog i'm going to use next whenever I get another set of foglights. They're BMW X5 LED foglights.
So this nice weather is making me miss my car.. The truck just isn't the same! So I'm looking into a few vehicles and bikes so I can have a fun toy again!

I was just thinking the same thing this week Nate! Haha, I was debating when to take them off too but I think I'm gonna keep mine on until we officially know that Winter is over and no more snow is on the way. It's reasons like last year when we had snow until like April or so that I'll keep them on.

I've always had good luck purchasing from Bloomington Acura; however, I've purchased several cars from them now and don't know if that makes a difference at all. The new MDX is a big seller right now, which makes it one of those vehicles were dealers probably won't budge too much on the price. Unless of course your paying $$, then the negotiating opens up a bit more!
