I am afraid I can't make it my dad's retirement party is at the same time as our meet. I thought it was on Sunday but it is tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing everyone today! Weather is cooperating as well (as much as it can in winter here in MN). Only a few more months before the summer cars come out to play and cruises begin!
My buddy is finishing up his Audi TT build - Assuming it's ready, he'll be running Central Crown this year. I may sign up for Polar Run next year, it's a little more truck friendly compared to Central Crown. I saw a few pics of the trucks that ran, looks like they had some fun
^ I am here every time I can. I have been busy with my training seminars. I have 2 more weeks to do. I am really itching for the warm weather. Did you get the parts for your car? How was Vegas. I think everyone is just hibernating. I try to post some thing to get responds But no replies When is the KY meet I want to block my days at work?

Just got an email that my CF steering wheel is done, and is in the US! Being that I'm leaving next week, I'm holding off until I get back for him to ship it to me. The other CF parts should be only a few more weeks until they are done!
Vegas was a blast....won BIG on many of my Superbowl bets.
You mean the Kansas meet, right? The National Acurazine meet will be the weekend of June 12-14. Already got the time blocked on my calendar! Hoping that more from MN come this year!
Yeah, I know that everyone is basically hibernating right now. Itching for some warm Spring weather as well! Only a few more weeks until Spring. Actually heading to Key West, FL next week for a little relax time with the wife. Should be a good time.

I know what you mean. I am also doing some work on my car and in this weather sucks to do anything in the garage . I'm hoping it gets a little better soon to continue were I left off
Been a little frozen
The car is going to the dealer this afternoon for an odd engine growling noise which causes a vibration in the steering wheel. I have a bad feeling they are going to tell me it is normal VCM noise but if it is normal why has it not done it for the first six months I owned it? I had a good time in Scottsdale for the Barrett Jackson car auction the weather was perfect sunny and 70's the whole week. Plus my rental car company didn't have a car in the premium class that I had booked ready so they kept trying to get me into a Camaro or other sporty car I was like I don't need a sporty car as I am pretty sure I'll be in traffic to and from the auction every day. So they gave me a free upgrade to a luxury car so I got a Cadillac ATS instead of the Mercedes CLA I had booked. The Caddy was an ok car we racked up over 500 miles in five days and it had rattles, creaks and on the last day developed a buzzing noise from the left speaker. I was unimpressed with the car the UI was difficult to use the cruise control took me a few minutes to figure out and the car doesn't have buttons just touch controls which only seem to work once in a while. The auction was huge the main pavilion is probably 3-5 football fields long filled with vendors, high end auction cars, memorabilia and other displays. Then you go outside the pavilion and there are four football field sized tents with all of the other auction cars. By Thursday and Friday most of these had been sold and they write the sold price on the SOLD sticker so I kept telling my dad I could have bought this for less than my new Accord. Here are some examples 1993 Bentley Continental R 27,500, 2007 Mercedes SL550 29,700, 1994 MB SL600 18,150, 1989 BMW 635 CSI 8,250 plus others but most of the classics in good condition started over 30-35K. I was a little disappointed with the bidding especially on the Shelby Super Snake everyone knew Ron Pratte paid 5,000,000 a few years ago and he wasn't going to sell it for less as it had a reserve. They worked on that car for almost ten minutes and it didn't sell until after they had rolled it off the block the crowd was really deflated after that and any real excitement in the crowd was gone. So the Saturday ended on kind of a down note.
