my friend says it starts at 10am but he says he's dynoing at 945. So I guess its when people show up to whenever people want to leave.

Checked the cost of the 105k service with Buerkle Acura today.. WOW was I surprised.. They wanted $1,899 for the service.. I was expecting it wasn't going to be too check, figured somewhere around $1,000, but not close to $2k for the service.. eff that!

 

damn, for real? I was just about to go check for my 200k service. I guess I'll just do it myself maybe.

 

While that was not a deciding factor in selling my car, it definitely pushed me to sell it in the fall, rather than hanging onto it until spring. I wanted to say "Wasn't due for service yet" rather than "Didn't have it done yet"

 

Very smart marketing strategy

 

Lucky-J, just get the parts and have a performance shop do the job for less. $1000 easy. Dealerships are overpriced just because they go by the book hour, when you are really paying $300-$500 just letting the car sit back there when it's done.

Some respectable shops who are good at working on Honda/Acura, FullBlown, RS Motors, MAP, and Devoted Auto. I'm sure there's others.

 

I believe our Honda dealership in Duluth charges a little under $1000 for the 105k service

 

I'm gonna go get a quote from Inver grove Honda, they usually have the best service in town for hondas/acuras.
