Twin Cities Acuras
Hey Jakob - nobody really answered you, but you will want to do the 3x3 rather than a single. The issue with the single, is that you can only get like 80% of the fluid out of the pan unless you drop it. And most of the "chunks" will stay in the pan. So flush out the 80, refill, take it for a drive and flush again. This should get more crap out of there.
With a single flush, you are leaving 20% of the stuff you want out of there. With the 3x3 you end up leaving 3.2% (mathmatically speaking)
Now my math may not be 100% accurate, due to the fact that I am not positive how much fluid is left in the bottom of the pan below the drain plug. But if I remember correctly, it could actually be more than the 20% that stays. I want to say a quart stays in the system at all times. But not being a TL owner anymore, what do I know
Oh. And Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and whatever else I missed.

Hi Everyone,
Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. My 07 key/fob is dying on me. I've taken it apart and it doesn't appear there's a standard battery I can replace. Has anyone had to replace their 3rd gen key/fob? What's the process? I don't want to spend $100 and buy one from Acura, if I don't have to.

My 05 had died on me recently but it was the battery. Bought some 2032 3V battery and it worked up again. Was your key fob ever gotten any water damage?

You guys wouldn't happen to hydro-dip "water transfer" would you. I'm looking for someone to do this for me for my headlight build.
Also, what is your turn around time on small projects. I have some projector shield that I'm looking at painting. I figured powder coating them would be the best bet as opposed to using high temp paint. The only problem I would need addressed is to mask off the top of the cutoff line.

Hondata Flashpro is new if you have a 07-08 TL/S. You manual or auto? Just want to see how many manual guys with the TL in the area.
Well the beast started yesterday it didnt want to it took a couple of cranks to get going. Then I had to go over by the U of M and some shithead on a bicycle spit on my car because I must have accelerated to hard because I wanted to get ahead of him to make a right onto University Ave. and not run him down.
I'm not a vendor on the site. So just email and we can talk. nate_0022@yahoo.com

Yes new project lol, I have an extra pair of headlights I'm working on. Check out my build thread in my sig. The new set I'm working on is going to have oem S2K ap1 projectors retrofitted into the drl spot. I currently have morimoto mini H1 in my headlights now. I've always have been a fan of the s2000 projectors so I'm finally building a set that I've always wanted. I'll be keeping my other headlights for winter use to keep the salt and oxidizing down on my new pair.
Yeah right! Getting this group together is like pulling teeth. Lets' have it on Saturday. I work on Saturday lets do it on Sunday. Football is on Sunday. Lets meet at noon. How about 1:30 or 2:00 or whenever I get off work. All the back and forth gives me a headache that is why I always wait to the last minute to say I am going becuase 9 times out of 10 it will be a bust. Hell I still remember the Coon Rapids BWW meet where 05TLRider came all the way up from Woodbury to meet me, Glow and lusid and I was the only one of the three WHO LIVE IN COON RAPIDS and only needed to drive 2-3 miles to the meet to show up.

That's why I let the young blood set things up cause he will set it up and we'll all be there.

Assuming this works for everyone, I'll figure out a central spot for everyone to meet. I'd offer to meet at my place, grilling and whatnot, but I'm not sure people would want to drive out to the north-west suburbs
How does 2 weeks from today sound for everyone? It would be Saturday, February 3rd.
