[quote=McCollins23;14530902]You better show up with that thing next year Joe
Its not done, and has been on the backburner for the last 4 years. I got frustrated when I misplaced (lost) some of the parts, and had some other issues I still need to work out. Limited time and resources ($$$) are also contributing factors. When the CL is in the body shop this winter, I hope to get the steering column and interior back in it so I can free up a stall for the CL. Maybe fall or winter of 2014 I'll be able to get this beast to the interior shop, then it will be done.

GODZILLA & 3G TL
Still waiting for those rolling shots...I gotta see 'em in more detail! That sure was a fun little drive down Metcalf going 3 wide lol!
As a side note, I must say it was an honor to be parked next to the Best in Show. FYAH's 4G is just that...straight fire! That car is flawless, period.

I know I'm not alone, just probably the only one that will say it out loud.

Eric, you're not alone. Next year, remind me and I'll have it turned down-no worries.

That would be me, they where waiting on me to take the pic. I showed up a split second before the pic was taken and was trying to figure out what the hell we were doing.

If I had known/thought about this event and knew you would hit OK Joe's and Sadler's...that would have probably been enough to drag me out that way. Looks like it was a great event for everyone including the spouses that may have come along.

Correct. He was the one that was trying to play "hide the sausage" with the much younger Hooters waitress.
Evan it was good to meet you as well. I wish I would have grabbed your contact info for whenever we shoot out that way sometime. You should come up for one of our bi-weekly get togethers sometime. Maybe the whole Witchitity gang can come up.
He actually goes by Steven Garret on the Fox. Something about when he first started there was a guy that went by Steven Bell (not his real name) so the real Steven Bell (our Steve) had to switch it up.

I always wondered if he was the radio Steven Bell.....now I know.

Matt is right! I'm Steve Garrett on 101 The Fox (KCFX-101.1 FM).
When I started in radio years ago, there was already a guy named Steve Bell on the radio. He real name is Henry Steven Asbell. Well, I thought that Kansas City was too small for two Steven Bell's on the radio, so I adopted Garrett as a professional name.
And now you know the story................

Lots of kudos to you Steven. My dad was in radio all of his life. We spent the first 6 years of my life "Movin' from town to town up and down the dial" (From the WKRP theme song). I thought about getting into it but realized I didn't have the talent or the voice. Its a tough business, especially when the Arbitron books come out. A lot of people change jobs.
Thanks....it's amazing I've lasted 36 years. There is no job security, no decent money and if you don't mind moving around a lot, it's a great gig.....LOL.
They've asked me to go back and do full time a lot, but I don't want to get back into that rat race again.....
