So everyone, I had a blast at the big national meet last month, and I think we need to do more KCK/KCMO get togethers, considering how many people there are on here from the area. Maybe get-togethers like what was before the national meet? Just get some grub and then go for a cruise? Any other thoughts/suggestions are more than welcome.

I'd say we just pick a restaurant and meet up for a drink and lunch/ dinner. My vote is for the 30th.

I'd recommend go-karts in Olathe, but there goes the whole el-cheapo meet. Although, the prices are decent (http://www.sadlersindoorracing.com). There is the "Other Place" (that is the name of it) right across the street or Buffalo Wild Wings just up the street.

Or maybe a Fast Friday's @ KC Trends South?

Actually it's getting aligned. So I have an X5 as a loaner. I have disliked every BMW I've ever driven. This is no exception. The seats suck and it feels like the interior is cardboard covered in imitation nice material. I just don't like it. I should be able to pick the RL up tomorrow night. Thank the Heavens above!

Silver and I go back probably 10+ years now, so I expect to catch Hell from him! Both of our screen names refer to our Contour SVT days. Kinda odd/cool that we end up on another forum together (other than fast4doors.com).

 

I'm really down to drive. I'm not terrible worried about it. Car already has 176k on it so a few more won't hurt her. The KC Trends thing would be great, but once again I'm really down for whatever.

It's kinda hot IMHO for a FF meet right now, maybe in September? For now, I vote for just meeting at a restaurant , grabbing some grub & beer and hanging out. Then we can bs in the A/c.
