Looking for a good custom shop in KC, Mo. Any advice?

 

What are you looking to do? If you are looking for someone to do exhaust or install exhaust, j pipe, mufflers, custom, etc. I would recommend that you got to Muffler Doctor off of Troost. It's not in the best hood but it's a legitimate Dad and son shop that has been around forever. I brought my son's car back there to out on his Magnaflows and he did a great job on his too. I had them install my Magnaflows and tips on my TL and they did a great job and great price. There is a another place I heard about called Revline Auto off of 18th street. They specialize in Honda and Acura tuning I have not tried them but I plan to in a couple of weeks.

 

I am looking for someone that can do some springs, offsets, window tinting, and taillight tinting. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

 

Midwest Tinting off of Shawnee Mission Parkway and 35w in Overland Park. They did my window tint and tail light tint. They did a real good job and they are very fast. They have a couple of other locations but I have only been to this one.

I put Tein H-Techs in my car but I had a side mechanic put mine on. I think KC Trends in Overland Park does springs.

I may have to look into that Muffler Doctor shop when time comes to put some exhaust on my car, good call...anyone know of any shops who can put on my coilovers for a decent price? Revline had a good price but they're backed up as hell and i'd like to have them on before the meet haha

 

Go to the DIY place out in OP and put them on yourself if you are mechanically inclined. They have lifts and air tools. I would offer to help but I have no clue what I'm doing

I've used DIY before, awesome place but I'm not THAT mechanically inclined lol - I wish I was. If someone you know is, ill rent a bay at DIY and provide them with pizza beer and some cash for the job!

I've become pretty familiar with the DIY place and the owner. I was actually just there yesterday, and the mechanically declined Matt helped out!

 

Check out KCSR.org. You can always hit up the guys from Revline or JT autosports. There's a midwest car meet at shawnee mission park next week.

 

Revline. I've heard nothing but great things and will be setting up an appt tomorrow for later this week to install s-tech springs and the stage-3 muffler delete w/ the dynomax 24215 muffler. I know they also used to do tint, and still may.

Will chime in for another +1 for Revline. Jeff has done some good work for me and is always friendly/professional and I haven't had a complaint about the work yet
