^^^ that is nice....i like that style....

i recently got my rims powdercoated and I would suggest saving your money and just plastic dipping it the right way....

plastic dip as a primer and then paint on top....

Thanks for the kind welcome fellas. I did get lucky with the 6MT w/ Navigation. I was minutes away from settling for an automatic w/ navigation, but patience is a virtue and sometimes good things come to those who wait. I wasn't a fan of the NBP at first, but pictures don't do that color justice. I was mesmerized the first time I saw it in person.

As far as wheels are concerned I've been leaning toward something deep dish and 5 spoke. I like the stock 5 spoke design, but feel the spokes could use a bit of a diet.

I was thinking something along these lines: 18"

Opinions?

Yes, but that's the best part. You can change colors whenever you want. It is pretty durable and won't peel off until you peel it off. Just make sure you do plenty of light coats (4-5) before painting it with color.

Hello everyone not a TL owner but yeah... haha Guess I'll introduce myself. Name is Jason. I used to kind of lurk around this site but never posted. I did attend one of your Acurazine Meets at Jay Wolfe with Tien (Black ITR). Back then I had an Arctic Blue Pearl RSX-S. It got rear ended about a little over a month ago on I-35 here is what it looked like before the wreck...

Got insurance money and got a NH black 05 TSX 6spd a month ago. I'm going to lower it tomorrow on tein coilovers and put on my old Gram Lights. So I will come back with some pics of the TSX after I lower it. Will have the aspec kit on it too.

Prob not going to get more than a 50% tint, if I get tint at all. Kinda like the fish-bowl look. I'm pretty sure of the mods I want, but really having a hard time finding a rim-style and finish. Can't decide if I want black, bronze, hyper-silver, or a light gold to maybe match the interior...

Anyways, hopefully I can meet some of the veterans during the meets when it gets warmer.
Nice job picking up a manual! Besides rims what are your plans for it?

Welcome Jason, shame about the RSX, I love those cars. Both cars have k20's, are you going to transfer over any mods from the old one? What are your long term performance goals?

Thanks guys!

As for future plans, I'm not sure. I was really focused since I got the car a month ago to getting the aspec kit and coilovers. I just wanted it to look decent, I hate riding stock for too long lol. I still had my Gram Light 57s from the RSX, so on the TSX they went.

With the suspension install ran into issues with bolts rusting on the arms. 3 of the 4 arms had a bolt that had to be sawed off. lol

Finally got it on the alignment rack.

Here are a couple quick pictures I snapped with my phone. I need window tint BAD. hahaha

Just glad to have the Aspec kit and suspension started. Now I can look into other things.

Jason, nice ride. You don't need tint. Fishbowl it out! Just be prepared to crank that A/C in the summer.

@USAFguy22 here is a list of what I've been thinking about:

Exterior:
Window Visors
A-Spec Lip Kit
Fog Lights
Trunk Spoiler (installed)
Rear Window Spoiler
Type-S Side Markers
Yellow DRLs

Interior:
White LED Lighting
LED Door Sills (?)

Engine:
Fujita F5 Cold Air Intake
Megan Racing OE-RS Exhaust System

Suspension:
TEIN Advance coilovers: [F] 11 from STIFF; [R] 10 from STIFF

Wheel Options:
MB Wheels - Weapon (18in. bronze, or gunmetal)
TSW Snetterton
TSW Carthage
ADV.1 5SL

I change my mind every thread I read, so who knows what the list will look like a few months from now. I just want my car to be totally different from everyone else's.

What's happenin', guys.

Just sold my hard top S2k for a TL. Had the S2000 for about a year, and daily driving it to college/work everyday wasn't exactly working out. Sold the car. I was browsing craigslist for a TL/TSX last month, and a loaded TL out in the boonies of Missouri for a good price caught my attention.

Rundown on the car:

Bone stock
Nighthawk Black Pearl
Base
Automatic...bleh
Curbed to hell wheels (I'm assuming he let his wife drive the car at some point)
A-spec lip kit with trunk lid flushmount
Navigation
Black leather which is in excellent condition for 110k miles

Plans are to leave it stock, but we all know that never happens...haha. I had no idea of the amount of Kansas Acura members on here! Cheers.

Sounds like a pretty solid list, I have Tein Monoflex coilovers on my NSX and it rides great, I'm running them a little firm until I get around to rolling the fenders.

I'm down for a meet whenever. I have finals wrapping up this Monday, which couldn't come any sooner!

I have OEM TL-S tails sitting in my room waiting to be installed. Just by skimming over some of the threads that cover this, it seems like a fairly involved installation. Any insight or pointers?

There will be a bracket that holds the lights and the bumper on. Omit the screws on the bracket for the bumper. Then next time you don't have to take the bumper off.

After I wrote that I realized that the bracket doesnt hold the bumper on, you just cant get to the bottom screws while the bumper is on. Still you want to omit the bottom screws so you can swap out tails in a matter of minutes w/o having to remove the bumper. Let us know if you need some help.

Is Omaha too far away from the Kansas City area to say What's up?
Only a 3 hour drive

My name is Steve... new to the acura world. Drove a chevy into the ground by 70,000 miles. Traded for a 2013 Acura ILX in silver moon. Probably should have bought a TSX instead, but meh... anything with "New" stamped all over it I flock to for some reason.

What's up Steve (not you Mr. Bell ) c'mon down man we'd love to have you. Make sure to bring some steaks with you Man you have an ILX, now I'm jealous. Those things are very nice looking cars. I saw my first one a couple of weeks back and I stopped and drooled over it for a few minutes. You better bring that thing to the national meet this summer. There are a couple of folks that come in from the NE area.
