anyone know of a good shop in michigan (central)? i've read that when tinting the windows-- moleskin is required to prevent from the tint being scratched, i would assume the tint shop would know of this?

i like my tint to be fairly light too, so im thinking 35% all around (except for the windshield)

 

might want to post this in the regional section, will get more responses that way.

good luck in your search, tint shop should know about moleskin, if its a reputable shop.

 

Where I got mine done they didn't mention moleskin. I found out about it through AZ and it is definitely a good investment. I recently had my tints done and didn't have moleskin so now there are little scratches, but I'm getting them put in asap.

 

yeah, that sucks. i dont consider these kind of shop "pros" if they miss important details like that. so im always nervous when i take my car out to the shop. my biggest pet peeve....why do they have to slam the doors/trunk so freakin hard? sigh

 

I know exactly what you mean... I hate putting my cars in other people's hands(mechanics). If I could do all repairs myself I would.
