What percentage is tint legal at?
First of all, I have no idea if this is in the right thread, but seeing how tint is seen as a "mod" I will post it here :P
Anyhow, I live in MD.
What percentage is tint legal at?
I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, but for some reason I can not find the search bar.

OK, did some browsing and stumbled upon this website:
http://www.lightningmikes.com/images/state-laws.pdf
Now, if anyone can translate that for me in the state of MD.
I also heard that if you go to another state with tinted windows , the officers can't really charge you for your tints?
How come most state troopers pull drivers with tints all the time when traveling between Maryland and Virginia?
Also, what is the stock tint % for the Acura TL 2004 windows?

So I have the following information from just researching.
It says light must transmit more than 35%.
Is there some sort of chart that explains how much light transmit through a certain % on tints?
For example:
How much light transmits through a 25% all around tint?
I am new with tinting car windows.
HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN MARYLAND?
Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Maryland, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window. • Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 5 inches of the windshield. • Front Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in. • Back Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in. • Rear Window Must allow more than 35% of light in.

Correct!
FYI....I have 35% tint and have been pulled over a few times for my tint and I had to go to the MVA to get it tested. When it was tested, the reader showed it was 32% but the state trooper told me that sometimes the device can be off +/- 2-3% so he let me go. Now I have stickers on all my windows saying it's 35% approved by the MD State Troopers.
If I were to get pulled over again, I just have to point out my stickers and show the paperwork.

How does it look?
Do you possibly have pictures of your car day and night with the tints on them?
And also, that is awesome that you have a approval sticker
