Virginia Beach Service Recommendations

Hi there. I now live in Virginia Beach and it is service time for my '99 3.2TL. Can anyone recommend a mechanic or service department in Virginia Beach? Thank you kindly in advance.

Crickette.. You may want to post this in the Hampton Roads, VA thread. We are a fairly active thread with quite a few Acuras in the VA Beach area.
Also.. it may help to specify what "service" you need done and what area of VA Beach you are in so we can help guide you.
BTW.. My name is Mike.
Welcome!

Mike, thanks. I wasn't sure what the protocol was on the Hampton Roads thread. I'll post there as well. I'm approaching 130,000 miles. I love my Acura. We have been through a lot together.

Priority Acura wants $452 for the 130,000 mile service. The service advisor ran through what is done; I think the timing belt, tire rotation, a fluid flush or 2, oil change, air filter, and some other minor stuff. (I should have written it all down...).

Over at Hall Acura, they want to change my oil, possibly the timing belt, and flush everything that they can, and send me on my way. The advisor is talking $99 / flush. I thought I read in Consumer Reports that the whole flush business is unnecessary. I'm looking for integrity and know-how. I do not necessarily need a dealership, just outstanding service.

I'm glad there are so many members in and around Hampton Roads. I'm sure there is great advice here for me.

I only deal with Priority Acura for my car. 452 for the 130K service dont seems so bad. I always thought timing belt jobs were around the 350-400 price range plus everything else.

James and Harold are the only ones who touch my car and as far as service people only talk to Donna (old lady) or Paula and stay away from the black dude he dont know shizzzz.

That's funny Eric....the last time I went to him, he forgot to do one of the services that I requested. He is an idiot!

PIP Imports.....I've used him since I came here with my 92 Accord in '99. Pip will not do anything that you do not need done to your car....His number is 436-0098

I bought my TL from Hall Acura on Holland Rd and they are great! I always take my car there for all my service needs and the people there are just awesome. Ask for Eric at Service and you won't be disappointed. Everyone is cool there but I deal with him most of the time and I have always been happy with their service.

As a perk they also have a nice waiting area with big screen tv and free beverage and donuts!
