Please Help! Tires and Transmission questions
Hey Everyone! I have a few questions, yes I know search button but it has confused the heck out of me and I need your opinions!!
1. The tires Falken that came with my car SUPER NOISY, now i've read a 100 reviews, in a nutshell what is a good tire i can buy that is quiet? Currys is giving me a sick deal on DSW, but my uncle manager of service and a lead mechanic at tysons honda is saying Michellin - Please help! I kind of want to hear it from this local community.
Oh and my steering goes to the right! firestone has 180 life time alignment deal.
2. Why does the car take forever going into 5th? My friend has put 50K miles on his TLS and says it just does that. But if feels weird...anyone?
Again Thanks rant over

IMO, Falkens are shit. I had them back in the 80s and they were shit. I let the guy at Mr Tire talk me into another set saying, "They've come a long way since then." Guess what? Still shit. I made him take them back and give me a set of Eagle GTs and haven't looked back since.
Get the alignment. Make sure the shop uses the Hunter Roadforce machine to do it. If they don't have one, go elsewhere.
Goes without saying most of the time, but the first thing to do with a newly purchased used car is to change all of the fluids. Honda transmissions are notorious for failures. There have been many theories on why and how to prevent, but the first thing is to get fresh fluid in. Check out the 3G Garage for more info (link: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/check-these-sources-out-if-youre-having-problem-just-want-learn-something-767930/ ). Also, you may want to take the opportunity to replace the shifter switches---search for a thread titled "Interesting Conversation" started by user "ihatecars" for more info.
DO NOT LET A SHOP USE ANY TYPE OF PRESSURE FLUSH DEVICE ON YOUR TRANSMISSION! Follow the instructions in the 3G Garage to perform a 3X3 trans fluid change.
