im looking for a reputable paint shop located in the DC Maryland Virginia area. I have a NBP TL-S, looks like the previous owner used some cheap black paint spray and didnt do a good job.

any suggestions?

its more of a body shop...they do great work...wagonworks on rte 1 in alexandria. had my bumper replaced after someone rearended me. flawless (workmanship). customer service is about par. plus the nearby porsche and BMW dealership sends their cars over to them for body work and paint.

 

I used the one the dealership uses. Look up Pohanka Collision, they do body work and paint match perfectly. Had them do my Mugen grille for my car for $40. If you speak Spanish you'll get a better hook up lol.

iused these guys once for work...OMG. horrible. par at best and the paint job was shoddy. was not happy with their work. at least this was the one in arlington.

there is suppose to be a really good place in chantilly. don't know the name but independently owned.

Damn, sucks to hear. I'll be sure to avoid the Arlington one lol. There are multiple shops around though for them. I used the one in Alexandria, the one in Chantilly is supposed to be really good too.

yeah that's the place in chantilly. i heard they did really good work, can't spk from experience. convenience wise, wagon works is closer to me and work. lots of luxury cars in their lot. drive past there several times a week.

Carstar in laurel, i just got my front bumper painted.. looks flawless, u gotta see it in person blends perfect with the body.. cant even tell

 

i'm going to revive this one guys...wagonwork on rte 1, bought out by pohanka collision. now they won't even warranty my paintwork on my bumper, even though they do business as wagonwork. recent reviews since the buy out...have not been good. just putting that out there.

And to follow up on this, Royal went out of business. Heartbreaking!!

 

i'm gonna give props to pohanka collision in chantilly they made things right when the other shop failed. they work on a lot of TLs and other Acura's since the dealer is around the corner, so they can paint match really well.

 

I contacted D&V Autobody in Dulles and they gave me a rough over the phone estimate of $700 for just a front bumper repaint... Ouch. I do understand their work is probably the best in the area. They're the first body shop I have ever seen to get a 5 star rating on yelp and have over 50 reviews.

Has everyone else who has gone there paid roughly the same amount?

 

^^a front OR rear bumper respray will run about $5-700 in our area at a reputable shop.

IIRC i got a quote from them a few years ago for a rear bumper...it was about $650.
