I recently purchased an '05 RL and am in need of a good mechanic/shop who works out of the Laurel/Columbia area if possible who knows there stuff in regards to this automobile. Once I get a mechanic, I like to stay with that one for the duration of me owning it.

If anyone has an suggestions along with shops to avoid, please respond. Thanks alot people....

 

I would recommend Paul aka NVA-AV6 but hes in VA near Dulles.

I'm new to the board but hope to gain as much knowledge about this car as possible from you all who have experience working and dealing with Acura/Honda's. I would like to learn as much as possible when it comes to DIY maintenance. Even meeting with members who have done it themselves so that they can a show a NOOB a trick or two when not taking my car to the shop.

Thanks g1underground...i'll check them out on my next off day. I need to get the major maintenance done on the car. Do you have an idea of what would be a fair price to have the 105k service done on an RL?

 

I just got my timing belt job on my 05 RL done at asian imports in glendale, md. About 10 minutes from laurel. I know the owner persoanlly and they do great work. If you check them out, tell them Lance sent you.

Haven't had mine done yet but if you call tell them Lloyd with the CL recommended them, they know me well. And I heard L's TL place is good, too.
They're closer to you. Murray's is walking distance for me, I'm near the DC/MD line.

Also check out ELITE IMPORTZ in laurel they do the best work... i take my car to them for everything... the owner is great and a close friend works there....
