I'm coming up on the 100k maintenance. I use to go to this guy name Rick in Gaithersburg when I had my 01 TL. Can anyone refer a good mechanic?

 

look in the `Meets` section for your area code, usually a ziner who knows how to do the job at home can help you out or refer you to where they went

ck phone book for small ads from private shops that has honda or acura listed in what are their specialties-
go in person and meet the owner- manager- tech- whoever you can and ask how many gen3 TL timing belt services they have actually done in the last year- by a tech that still works there and will be doing your car

I suggest diy seafoam the engine internal and oil (with oil change 50 miles after)
a week before the service- so its clean for the new spark plugs and valve adjustment is better with cleaned oil
car will run like new when you get it back

 

Thanks for the info. I will be doing the spark plugs myself, so I will be doing seafoam before I do it.

 

Archie from D and D mechanical in the Gaithersburg airpark does a good job on whatever ive given him. he also is very fair on prices
