Huper Optik tint

Hi guys over a month go I tinted my TL with supposedly huper optik ESC 45 tint and it was not same brand but I got my refund back 100% plus to get it remove(great customer service), now I'd like to know if anyone has done this tint on their car and which shop do you recommend. So far the only one I've found is Performance window tint in Columbia, MD and have obtained a $400.00 quote. Do this tint has a brandmark like 3M crystallite.

Any helpful information will be appreciated.

wait, this post is very unclear.

you're saying you got hit with FAKE Huper optik, then go on and say the shop has great customer service!?

Howd you know the tint was fake!?
When I get home, I can take a look to see if there is a brand mark.

Sorry for the confusion, when I say " Great customer service " I mean the owner of the shop refund my money no question ask without me asking for it plus he gave me an additional $100.00 to get the old tint remove, what shop does that. I compared my tint with my co-workers dye tint and it looks the same.

Do you have any pics of the "huper optik" tint in question?

only authorized dealers are to sell Huper Optik tint.
when I bought mine, Huper Optik sent me an email explaining their warranty.
you didnt happen to get this email, did you?

This are only photos I took during peak time. The shop did gave me a certificate and I registered on HO website but haven't receive any emails of any kind. I'm just glad I got my money back without any hassle. I've also checking 3M crystallight film which I've seen a youtube video showing the brandmark.

This photo was taken at sun down. Keep in mind all this photos was taken with a circular polarizer filter

This photo below was taken with my iphone ( no filter )

Man, your tint blends very well with your exterior color. The second photo you provided is a true comparison thanks.

Look at brandmark on this video at 2:27

Little Update

I went to another local tint shop in Columbia MD and according to the tint guy the tint I currently have is not huper optik. I set an appointment for next Tuesday to re tint so I'm going for HO ESC45 all around and 50% for the front windshield. I'm crossing my fingers I don't get pull over because the front windhshield.

I went to Performance window tinting at Columbia, MD. I paid $600.00 to removed old tint and redo with Huper Optik and to tint windshield as well, removing tint usually cost $99.00

There prices are $400.00 after coupon for all windows except windshield and $150.00 for windshield.

I'm surprised that Performance will do the windshield as that is a clear violation (pun intended) and can easily put them out of business.

In MD you have a pretty good chance of getting ticketed and impounded for front tint. I hope you have deep pockets. The tow will be in the $250 range plus storage per day and you can't get it out of impound until you remove the tint - if you can't do it there you'll need to tow it to a tint shop to get it removed. Figure around a thousand or so before you're done - before the actual ticket.

I don't know about all that.

I had my front windshield tinted and got pulled over by a MD State Trooper for it. No fine, just one of those repair/fix it tickets. Only thing I had to do was remove the tint and go to MVA to show it was removed and that was it. They also tested all my other windows to make sure it was 35%; besides that the only cost was removing front tint.

You sound if you're a cop or had bad experience before but my front tint is not that dark as you may think and if I get pull over by a state trooper the worse case I will get a repair order, most of montgomery county police officer they don't bother you at all.
