Hey all,

I am looking for a good body shop to go to in the northern va area to get my front bumper repainted. Can anyone in the area who has gotten this done post what body shop and about the price they paid?

wagonworks collision. they did my rear bumper (insurance paid-over $900 replace and paint). fantanstic job. they are the body shop of choice for the porsche and BMW dealer down the street from them on rte 1 across from potomac yards.

another nice higher end shop, D&V, in chantilly. the paint guy does show cars. they also do a lot of exotics.

stay away from the pohanka collision shops (at least the one in arlington), great customer service, but the work was less than desired.

i would imagine just a repaint for the front bumper will run...$300-500. that's a guess. i know that insurance repair and paint for a rear bumper would have been like $450. just to give you an idea. you could try and call these places too to get a better idea.

thanks for the help ... i went to go check out quality auto body, and they were asking 460 for repaint. I was trying to get something closer to the 300 mark so I was a little surprised that they quoted me 460!

I'll look into d&v and see me what price they would be willing to do a repaint for

Tell him that Melvin with black Acura TL send you. He works at a body shop of Backlick Road in Springfield VA. he does alot of Bike custom paint and his prices are great. I know I-modify.com (Dennis) sends him lots of customer to get work done and his prices are great.

thanks melvin, i will give him a call today .... also has anyone heard of dany's auto body in chantilly va, its a pleasant valley rd ... i got a good quote from him, so was wondering if you guys have any feedback on that shop
