I'm looking for a shop that does good custom exhaust work in the DMV. Any help is appreciated!

I used to take my old car to PTuning in Manassas for work and although I never had an exhaust made by them, I know they make custom ones if that's what you're looking for

 

Hey EL19, don't know exactly where You are located, I'm in NE Baltimore. I've been using Tony's Custom Exhaust, 550 Crain Hwy. N,, Glen Burnie, Md. 21061, for years. Tony has done both routine and custom work on several vehicles for me. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable on everything exhaust. It's a small shop. Pricing has always been very reasonable, "ie" recently took my 03 TLS to local Midas shop to have both rusted out rear muffler flanges repaired, by cutting out the rusted flanges and welding inserts in their place. Midas quoted $300, WTF!! Called Tony, Tony did the repair for $120 which i felt was more than reasonable. While i was there, Tony was completing a custom side exhaust on a 2015 Mustang GT. Beautiful installation plus a great sound.

 

Good to know about Tony's, I'll have to give him a call when I'm ready to do some work.

 

Alex Automotive in Woodbridge, VA does good work. He did some work on my R32 GTR and he's fairly priced and real easy to talk to.

 

Probably bad to revive/necro post such an old thread but if anyone in the DMV wanna know good places to get exhaust work done on your Acura in 2022 I know of two places one of which was mentioned above.

Maryland - Tony’s Custom Exhaust in Glen Burnie, MD he did exhaust work on my previous TLX and did a good job. Was actually recommended to him by a local body shop in Glen Burnie not far from his shop

VA - Mac’s Custom Exhaust in Manassas, VA he did exhaust work on my current TLX and Mac did a stellar job, it actually sounds better than my last TLX. He really dialed in a good sound with the piping. Highly recommend him if you’re on the VA side. Charged me $300 for a dual muffler delete but it was worth it when he let me hear the final result.

 

Good to know. I’m closer to the Glen Burnie area so may have to check Tony out. I have a 22 TLX Type S and reserved a bolt on cat back exhaust that should be in by November. I’ll check Tony out for a custom down pipe.
