want something not quite as pricey but high quality work (you have to emphasize this to them...ie put out your expectations such i'm really anal and OCD about my car and i want the paint to be as close to perfect as possible with no chance of issues later on down the line...you are very particular, etc.)==> pohanka collision in chantilly PM me if you want the name of the person i know there she took care of my baby with A LOT of extra TLC and made sure the work was done correctly and the paint came out the way it was suppose to....so did the manager (ie he was the only one who handled my car and made sure the paint was spot on without flaws or chance of flaws) on a previous visit.

 

I need some tint on my 08 TL. So planning on dropping by driven dynamics on sat to get a quote, meet the folks and get an overall feel of the shop. Good to hear they have positive reviews from real people. very skeptical of padded google reviews these days.

 

I had them remove my old tints ( from another tint shop ) and applied theirs. Overall im very satisfied with their work. They cover that small rear quarter panel window on our cars that most places tend to skip out because it "requires more work" or some BS along that line. Speak to Gilbert, cool dude. I referred about 4-5 cars there already and all have been more than happy

I went and got an estimate for some paint work on my TSX at Pohanka and Imperial Autobody. Pohanka estimated a little over a grand where as Imperial was almost 600. That's a huge difference for me so I think I'm gonna roll the dice with Imperial. I will post before and after pictures. Thanks for all the input.

If I schedule an appointment to get windows tinted, will it be done same day (planning for commute and all, I live about 40 minutes away)?

Planning on 25% windows, 30% Rear Windshield (no cut-out), and I guess it is stupid to 50% tint the front windshield (or tint at all), based on the thread in 3G TL?

For german cars, fosters automotive in mechanicsburg is great and highly recommended. He does other cars also and is an alignment specialist. He is pricey, but worth it. He owns the business and works on some of the cars.
