There is a couple of things that people have been asking for and i have a couple suggestions all these places i have either worked at or always had work done on my car there...

ELITE IMPORTZ (301-604-5004) ask for chris or will - in laurel md for all your mechanical/installs.

DRIVEN DYNAMICS (301-838-0333) ask for Gilbert - in rockville md for all your tint needs.

IMPERIAL AUTOBODY (301-354-9803) in rockville md for all your body work/paint needs.

All three of these shops are great... i currently work at Imeperial Autobody and there work is the best.. As for ELITE i take my car there for anything that needs to be done and for installs.... And DRIVEN DYNAMICS for all my tint needs and my family and friends.

Whoever you call just tell them MIKE with the red tl sent you and they will take care of you the best that they can....

Umm its a lifetime warranty... mine started to scratch also.... idk if that covers it tho cuz tls are known for that.... u can try...

Any opinions on Winners Window Tint?

 

They are pretty good but usually charge 190++ depending on the car. I took my car to B&E Automotive, which is down the street from them and they did a very well job for a lower price. Check out one of my threads i have pics of the cars they did for me and my friend. +++ lifetime warranty as well!!!!

 

I use to get all of my cars done at winners...they are a good company but they are usually always busy and wont schedule you an appointment for weeks...

If you ask for gilbert at driven tell him you are a close friends of mike he will take care of the price and he will try and get you in as soon as possible....

they also offer a lifetime guarentee on film for anything.... and the film is guarenteed to never fade bubble peel or crack or it will be replaced for free...

I have received excellent alignments from Ken at Karen Radley Acura in Woodbridge, VA., an old school guy that's good with lowered cars and rear camber kits.

 

oh nice, i bought my car from them. I just dont about traveling all the way to woodbridge though for an alignment. Ill keep this is mind though. I do have front and rear camber kits. What his name btw?

 

The tech's name is Ken and the service writer I used last time was Trish, they charged $119.00, not the cheapest but my Tl sure tracks well.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on my experience at Driven Dynamics. I set up an appointment for last Sunday at 10am. I got 35% of ColorStable. At first he thought he didn't have enough tint to get my car done. Luckily he barely had enough. I'm not in the industry but I'm not sure how you can run out of Window Film if you're in the tinting business. The process took about an hour and 45 minutes. They had a decent waiting area with a big tv and basically watched Tomb Raider until he was done. Kierean (sp?) was very nice and gave me the rundown on tint maintenance and all that stuff. I did a quick once over and everything looks fine. I will wait till this weekend to take final pics and see if there are any bubbles or other issues.

Hey guys, any recommendations for cracked wheel repair near Silver Spring? Its a 19" that has been repaired (poorly) previously. I would honestly prefer to us a new one but they are impossible to find. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

New to Acurazine. I don't know if I can post pictures yet, but we have two Acuras, a 2002 CL and a new to us MDX with what appear to be scratches on the bumper (can only see white and some dings on the doors). Is there a place to post pictures to find out the best route to go? I was thinking of taking the MDX to a detailer to see if they can buff out the scratches. When I e-mailed a recommended detailer (from Angie's List) they mentioned that it is best to have work done first then bring it to them. I was hoping to have the unevenness buffed out and touch up to save $$$.
