Well, this weekend I went to Richmond. I made it there ok on Friday night. Saturday morning my upper radiator hose busts and my car stalled. I couldnt get it to restart after fixing it on the side of the road and refilling it with fluid. I had it towed to Pep Boys. They were the only shop open. They said that I need a new head gasket but they didnt feel comfortable doing the work. So, i had it towed to the Acura dealership in Richmond and I was told I need a new engine. Total cost- $9500.

I can't pay that right now. Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sorry for the delay, it won't let me pm anybody until i have at least 5 posts and have been a member for 15 days. but his user name should be nva-av6, if you can't reach him on here he's also a mod on .net and i know you'll be able reach him on there. one of his j36 builds will blow a stock motor out of the water and they're like 4 grand cheaper.
