Bump.
Updated pics available in my album (link in first post) to reflect 04 TL rims, P2R test pipe, and stock mufflers reinstalled. I painted the mufflers flat black. They had that gold garbage on the tips before.
Also re-buffed the headlights about a month and a half ago. You can somewhat see the difference between the old and new pics. And yes, the car is really dirty.

Edit - sound system up and running. JL Audio 10W6 with a (brand new) soundstream TRX700D amplifier and 5 farad capacitor. Sounds great! All interior speakers are stock.

I finally got the car back from the transmission shop today. Odyssey trans is in and is good to go. Shifts are firm and everything is working as it should. I will be posting a scanned copy of my invoice with all the items replaced and work done during this swap sometime tomorrow and if not then, thursday.

just curious what the performance and reliability differences are between the original cl-s tranny and the odyssey tranny. Has anyone else ever tried this swap? What kind of results can be expected?

You should probably post a new thread. Let me know when to close this if you want to go that route.
