Due to a lack of time, lack of garage space, and increasing family size, I have brought myself to list this car. I have owned this car since 2009 and started the track conversion in 2011. The roll cage went in before the 2015 season and unfortunately the car has only seen the track twice since. This car is absolutely one of a kind. It is the lightest Acura TL in existence and the only privately built/owned 2004-2008 Acura TL track car in the country. It was built with NASA's TT3 or ST3 class in mind
Everything able to be lightened, has been. The chassis before the roll cage was around 2450lbs, lighter than an RSX, most newer Civic Si's, BRZ, etc. With the cage I estimate the chassis to be around 2600-2650lbs, still 1000lbs lighter than the stock curb weight!
It has a been an amazing car to build and drive. It's easy to learn and could easily be someone's first track car as its handling is predictable and power, manageable. It has been incredibly reliable. Normal maintenance is up to date. Due to the light weight, it is remarkably easy on tires, brakes and fuel.
