TL engine in a RSX

I have a friend who has an Altima who put a 350z engine and transmission into his car. I have another friend who works only import and he has over 30 Acura's in his lot. I was thinking about getting an engine and transmission from a TL S. What do you guys think? I was also thinking about a crazy mod of finding a manual RDX with SH AWD but that mod would be hard. What you guys think?

Yea don't think its possible however you can do a full K24 swap or k24 block. Has more torque than the k20.

Maybe I'm not schooled well in Nissan's but isn't the 3.5 that's in the Altima the same as the 3.5 that's in the Z? I can understand the transmission but I thought both 3.5's were the same.

impossible without lots of major mod, j35 in that little engine bay, don't think so.
even you can get it done, i don't think it's cost effective. Also need lots of mod on the transmission (assume you have 6mt) to accommodate those torque.

Why?

All that money to shoehorn that motor and just end up with a lot of understeer?

K24/K20 head and add a turbo if its not fast enough.

You are 17? Are you completely loaded rich? You'd have to be to pull anything close to that off. We're talking upwards of like 10k+... at least

The EJ civc's and DC2/DB8 integra's have a very similar engine bay which is far more suited for this swap compared to a DC5.

You have a K-series...more power per liter, easier to mod, and far more aftermarket support than a J-series. Believe me, you have a good engine to start with already.

You are correct, The K -series has alot more room to grow then the j series. more parts for the K then the J series. but IMO i love the power the the J series put out Stock and in a light Eg hatch it is bad ass, i have drove stock K-series swaps in a hatch, and damn it is fast, just emagine the J series in the EG hatch lol it is bad ass, but i would love to Experience all that torque in a light car.
