What is the best simple upgrade I can do to my 06 s type rsxs stereo for sound quality and with a Bluetooth can I talk and listen to calls through the speakers? Thanks all.

 

motorola and parrot both offer systems that work with stock radio to mute the stereo when incoming calls come in and the voice uses the front 2 speakers. Some of these kits allow you to stream you music from your phone of B/T Ipod to the radio wirelessly.

Are you wanting info for a good 2ohm drop-in speaker since boses amp and speakers are 2-ohm?

 

Its a little difficult to upgrade the sound on that system, bose systems have so much sound shaping/equalization that using regular speakers or additional amplification often doesn't work out well.

 

Ahh so it's not as easy as ELS stereo? I do remember my CL-S6's bose system when nearing max volume the stop amp would pull back on the highs/lows hence how the saying goes with Bose... Im getting oil change soon. I'm going to sit in the 2nd gen RL to play one of my favorite type music (Trance) and compare it to the TL. Wonder why the RL wattage is so low verses the newer ELS stereo's 410 speakers from equal number of drivers? One thing i did notice on the 3rd gen TL's is the 3.5Gen are way louder than 04-06 (mom had 06 at one time). Anyone care to chime in? Thanks family.
