RSX Type S Vibration
RSX Type S Vibration
Hey I'm looking for help with a vibration problem. I have a 2002 RSX Type S with 255,000 Kms and I have some vibration in the wheel and through the car. It started when I tried to put on a couple of second hand RSX wheels on the car. I then switched back to the original wheels and I have new tires on the car. The tires are high end Toyos and the problem exists with my high end snow tires also. These have been road forced balanced at least 6 times and one at a different location. The problem will not go away! Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
This is something I always do when I get my tires rotated. Usually the place who rotate/balance the tires don't torque them to specs and with our cars will lead to more problems. Buy a torque wrench from Sears and torque them to specs.
Hi and thanks for the reply...I have been working with the local Acura dealership on this for months now and I know they are torquing them to spec. We are at a loss as to why I'm still getting vibration in the car? I appreciate the suggestion. Stewart
