what's the best exhaust for the RSX type S?

 

What are you looking for?
It depends on what your personal preferences are.

If you are looking for a really loud exhaust then I would look at BuddyClub exhausts, or Greddy.

But if you want something still louder than stock, but quiet when your under like 3000k RPM's I would go for a Tanabe Hyper Medallion. Thats what a lot of people have, its pretty quiet until you floor it or get above like 4k RPM's.


But remember you don't get much power from an exhaust... maybe 3WHP. So I would also look into getting a Race Header if you live somewhere without emission testing.

best exhaust is a custom exhaust. Perfect fit, your choice of size, quiet with a resonator and specific muffler (vibrant stealth) or loud with no res...i've had full exhaust from apexi, tsudo etc, and now I have a 3" with vibrant res and muffler. awesome sound, great performance, stock look.

 

I had 2 friends with Type-S do Apex-i World Sport 2. Best mellow exhaust. Want more sound and power? Do DC Sports race header. Gain another 10hp. The exhaust gains 6-8hp. Here are a few vids. This exhaust is good for keeping a quiet interior as well.

I've always been partial to HKS Hi Power exhausts for all Hondas. My brother has one for his '04 S2000 and it sounds very refined, sophisticated yet also aggressive. Here's a video for RSX Hi-Po:

yea if you want a little sound ive got buddy club race headers and buddy club spec 3 exhaust, yea exhaust wont give much but race headers open up the k20's alot, heres my exhaust vid
